Victoria Quilters' Guild Quilt Show 2012

Wow!  Its been so hectic the past few weeks I haven't even had time to share the wonderful creations from the fourth class in my Fabric Art series at Linda's Quilt Shoppe in Kelowna.  Well, that will have to wait a few more days as they deserve a post of their own.

I was on the road this weekend at Victoria where I had a booth at the quilt show. I am so happy to finally have a public venue to show off my line of Fil-Tec thread and pre-wound bobbins, as well as my hand dyed fabric.

I drove to Victoria with my friend Marilyn on Wednesday so we could get in early Thursday to set up the booth.  It was an adventure getting everything into the back of our pick-up truck - we barely had room for our suitcases!

Well, it only took an hour to empty the truck and move everything into the booth.

Then came the fun setting up the displays. Its amazing how much you can fit into a 10 x 10 booth!  We were both very pleased with the final result.

Well, it has been a wonderful show and we met lots of great people.  We pack up tonight and return home to Summerland early Monday - just in time to unpack, then get ready again to leave Thursday for the next show at Langley!  If you are near the lower mainland of BC, drop by and say hello.
